What is the return/exchange policy?
Items purchased from artists on the Meryarts marketplace are custom made and printed just for you. Returns cannot be submitted without the item is defective. Exchanges, however, can be offered for apparel sizing issues. To set up an exchange, please reach out via the Contact Us page, include your original order information and the size you’d like in your e-mail, and we’ll Contact you.
If the product you received is defective or not up to our usual standards please contact us via the Contact Us form with a picture of the damaged item and your order number and we will gladly take a look for you to see what went wrong!
After contacting us, how do I exchange a shirt I purshased?
Meryarts gladly accepts exchanges of unworn / unwashed items within 20 days of receipt of your order. Please send your unworn / unwashed items to the same address that you reached for the order.
Include a note (or, ideally, write on the packing slip and include that) with the following information:
- The order number, or the name and email address of the purchaser.
- The item(s) and size(s) you want in exchange. If you’re exchanging for a t-shirt, remember to include if you would like a men’s, women’s, junior’s, or kid’s t-shirt. Available sizes include:
-Men’s T-Shirts: Small through 3XL
-Women’s T-Shirts: Small through 2XL
-Juniors T-Shirts: Small through Large
-Kids T-Shirts: XS through XL
-Women’s Tank Tops: Small through 2XL
-Hoodies: Small through 2XL
Note: 2XL shirts cost $1 extra, and 3XL shirts cost $2 extra. Items are considered a direct exchange (shirt for shirt), regardless of how much you paid or the current list price. However, additional charges may apply if you are exchanging for a different product and / or a 2XL or 3XL. - The address you would like your new shirts shipped to.
- Lastly, if the shirt was a gift, and you do not want the original purchaser notified of the exchange, write “no email” on the packing slip and we will make sure they do not get any email notifications concerning the exchange.

-Customer pays return shipping on exchanges. We recommend using the US Postal Service, but you can ship it via any major carrier.
-We do not charge a restocking fee.

After contacting us, how do I return a shirt I purchased?
Include a note (or, ideally, write on the packing slip and include that) with the following information:

- Please list the item(s) you are returning and write “return for refund.”

-Refunds will be made through the original method of payment. This means it will go back onto the credit card or into the PayPal account that placed the order. We cannot send cash refunds.
-Customer pays return shipping on returns. We recommend using the US Postal Service, but you can ship it via any major carrier.
-We do not charge a restocking fee.

I made a mistake in my order! Now what?
Your order is held for two hours after it is placed to permit for any necessary changes to billing/shipping addresses or item sizes and colors! Please visit the Change Order page! If you need to make a change that cannot be made through this tool, you are also able to cancel and refund your order there so that you can start from scratch!
If it has been more than two hours since you placed your order, please Contact Us right away via our Contact Us. If your order has already been printed and shipped, unfortunately changes cannot be made to it.
Something I ordered is defective.
If something you received is defective please contact us with a picture of the damaged item and we’ll do what we can to make it right! We never ask that damaged items to be returned to us.
Where is my refund?
PayPal refunds will be instantly credited back to the PayPal account used for the original payment, but credit card refunds can take up to one billing cycle for the funds to appear back in your account. This can take three to four weeks, though it usually does not take that long.
If your refund still hasn’t been applied after you receive your next bill, please let us know via the Contact Us and we’ll be happy to resolve that for you.
I was sent the wrong shirt/I was sent a defective Shirt:
Quality and customer satisfaction are our highest priorities.
If we ship you the incorrect item or you receive a shirt with a manufacturing defect, please Contact Us with your order number and the specifics on what the problem is. We will work with you to fix the issue as quickly as possible. This is typically done at no cost to the customer since it is our mistake!
My new shirt smells like vinegar. Is that normal?
You are not imagining things! With our print process, the print area is pre-treated with an eco-friendly solution that smells like diluted vinegar. Most of this evaporates during the curing process, but a hint of vinegar can remain. This will wash out completely in the first wash.
